Sandy got sick last time we tried this trip and I had to cut it short. Hopefully we will have better luck this time.

Meet at Chevron in Gurley on US Hwy 72 (about 15 miles east of Huntsville). Hardees is next door if you want breakfast.

Rider Briefing at 8:50am

KSU at 9:00am - Sunday May 7th

Route will be mostly 2 lane roads for about 2 hours with 1 planned rest stop. Cruiser pace.
There will be areas where you can run ahead of the pack if you so desire.
No one will be left behind. We will wait at the turns.

Total miles will be around 200 and we should be back in Huntsville area by 4pm.

Lunch will be at The Bell Buckle Cafe

Weather: Sunny with a high of 69 deg.

We may return through Lynchburg for a walk around the square and ice cream.

Fuel pump went out in our Honda Accord, so I'm out for today. :'(  It's gonna be a day of "renchin" instead of a day of "ridin"...  Already looking forward to next time, though!

Glad I chose to enjoy today's great weather on an equally great ride. Thanks for letting me tag along.  Pace was great (I'm not a fan of pirate parades). I will join you all again.

Looks like a fun ride.  I wish I could have made it but I was out of town and not riding.  I did run into this shady character that some of you may recognize.

What were both of y'all doing at Letters-R-Us??  :)

It was a toy store in Helen.  He lives near there and I was just playing tourist with some family who were also in the area.  Just a coincidence we were there at the same time....it's a small world.
