Where is this campground?  I put the name of the camp into google maps and it showed a location well off of 33 which is different from what you posted.

I looked for it yesterday and could not find it.

Thanks Allen, I will be there. Unless it rains really bad

I hope to make it Saturday morning for the ride.

Will I need knobbies...or can I get by with Tourances?   :)

They should be fine if it stays dry!

Depends on the skill of the rider!

KevinB

In that case, I better find some good knobbies. :)

I'm just too lazy to put the dirt wheels back on the Terra...as long as there's no gnarly hill climbs or mud pits,  I should be fine.

There were a few mud holes last year but I made it through with my semi-street tires.  I did pressure down for sand....

It looks like this campground is right off of 33.  Is there a sign or some way to identify it.  Is it on the east or west side of the road?

kdtrull

East side of 33, just south of the Black Warrior Work Center, just north of CR 9.

This will be my first time to this event.  From what I understand it's sausage fest fri nite, free breakfast sat morning, sat lunch at chef troy's.  What are the plans for Sat nite and Sun morning?  What should I be bringing for this?

Fencejumper09

I am planning a liquid diet for Sat night due to probably still being full from Chef Troy's!

I think there was leftover everything last year that was consumed Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

I'm in. I think I will put the klx in the back of the truck and show up Friday night,  I would probably miss the ride if I rode over saturday,  not riding a klx at night.

Already out, forgot this was bull pen blues weekend.

It's not looking good for my attendance this year, one of my coworkers has health issues and I may have to be on call this weekend

I'm in....assuming my chain gets here before Friday.  I ruined an almost new one yesterday.  I don't like master links....but I especially don't like 2.  I set out to cut one link after first-ride stretch and managed to cut 2 links by accident....Rackin'-frackin'-rip-snort'n-stupid-camels-great-horny-toads......I had enough chain from the first cut to repair but I ain't gonna' do it.

Weather forecast looks fantastical......hope it holds.
