Could be a good excuse to try out a versys 1000 for the first time in 6-8 years. Granted, none of the Kawasaki lineup interests me all that much. I love a good adventure bike, but the versys' sport engine and smaller 17 inch wheels... I don't think it fits what I want. If I were to replace my 2014 DL1000, it would likely be with a 3rd gen DL1000.
The klx300 is too small. I can't pass up the torquey fun factor of my 2021 Husky 701.
I'm too happy with my current two primary bikes to want to change up anything.
Though I do need to decide if I want to keep my old 02 Wr426...

Says you have to pass a breathalyzer test to ride!
It's going to be a bit chilly for this but I still plan on going. I plan on going both days. A bunch of us may go to lunch together on Saturday.
I went to Allsport for the Demo rides today.

The little Ninja was the most impressive of those bikes. The Z900 and Z650 were fun. The KLR was pretty boring. My 05 model was a better bike IMO.
I'll be there again tomorrow.
I made it to All Sport today. They did not have the KLX 300 SM that I wanted to ride, so I rode the KLR 650. It's still a donkey, but a good donkey.
I ended up riding nearly all of the demo bikes. IMO the best overall bike was the Versys 650 but the two little 400s were the most fun to ride.

Glad I didn't put the effort into going then. I kinda wanted to ride the 300 to see how it compared to my KLX351. Also, I have often thought while railing around corners on my KLX how much fun a SM would be on tight twisty roads.
