I think I figured out my problem.... again. I ran into this before and forgot the fix. Google puts https:// I deleted the "s" and it's working. Getting old sucks.

But it beats the alternative.  ;)

I think it's the same issue FB hosting has, changing address over time.

I made the mistake of using FB to host pics posted on forums.  It works great until the pics disappear.

Free photo hosting sites always come with a hook. They never stay free, the links will change, or something else will happen.
It is the way of the world. "Free" is just a "hook" to bait you, then reel you in.

The internet is now based on a business model. Storage space cost money.

I think the best long term thing to do is to find a good photo hosting site, then be willing to pay a bit. All your photos in one spot...organized, it worth a bit of coin to me...just saying.

I guess I'm too damn lazy to figure out how to use photo hosting. All my pics are posted through Tapatalk. It's the only time I open the app. Just checked and as far as I can tell, my photos are still showing.

^^^^^I agree with Springer on this.^^^^^^

I switched to Smugmug last summer and have no regrets.  It works much better that Photobucket did.  I originally started with Photobucket because it was "free".  Obviously that turned out to be a mistake.

I am also on Smugmug but am trying to figure out a way to embed videos from there. I really hate uploading all of these Carnage Report 30 second videos to Youtube just to embed here!

Send links to Moto Madness and start getting paid for them.

Just FYI, if you have Firefox you can still see those old photobucket images with this add-on:

I know this is the test page, but is is that a super duke?  If so, I believe you need to be hosting a group ride sir. Just so we can all follow from a safe distance and drool.
