Not in Alabama, but doable from Huntsville and be back by dark on a work day for essential workers needing a break.
GPX Paved "Goat track, switchback, old train track, and head on back"
Enjoy
Thanks for the gpx share. I need a few more loops I can ride after work.

Bonus points if you spot the 1956 Cadillac. Easier to see one direction than the other.
I tried out your loop today (Sunday). It's a really nice laid back loop with lots of scenery.
I saw 5 deer, 2 snakes, 2 ground hogs and 5 buzzards. The buzzards were trying to eat a dead possum. All but one flew off when I came around the corner. The buzzard who stayed was really large and apparently though he could take my DR650. A horn blast was required to get him out of the road.
When I turned onto Kimbrough Rd I saw a bunch of cars. I realized too late that I was driving through a church service. They had moved their service outside for social distancing with people sitting on both sides of the road. As I drove through, the pastor stopped and waved at me, I waved back and then the whole congregation waved. I guess all was good.
I was unable to find the Cadillac, but I did see an old Jeep Wagoneer. They are becoming more collectible these days.
Thanks for the share.
The caddy is easier to see running Counter Clockwise.
I may have to run this, this afternoon.....gotta do something, itchy ???
