Title: Greetings from Jemison, AL
Post by: Gavilicious on April 01, 2018, 12:07:33 PM
Hello everybody! I'm a new rider (I got my bike around last May). I ride a 2015 Yamaha R3. I don't have many friends in the motorcycle scene, so I was watching videos on how to get into the loop. One way I saw was forums, which lead me here. I hope I can meet some cool people and go on some fun rides!

Welcome to the site! What part of the state are you in? There is a Gymkhana event coming up in Leeds Al. you should try to make.  ;)

R3? Pretty cool bike!

I'm from Jemison which is located in Chilton County. Basically if you were to travel north of Montgomery and south of Bham the same distance, you'd meet where I am. XD
Leeds is pretty far away, when is the ride?

Welcome from Birmingham!! I think I would have some fun on an R3!! Got any pics you could post of the HOG?

The Gymkhana would be a worthwhile trip to make!!

Yep the R3 would be a good bike for the gymkhana.

Welcome from Huntsville!  There are a few of us up this way.  Look forward to meeting you sometime soon.  I post a lot in Vintage, though not everything applies strictly to vintage bikes.  One activity coming up is on April 28th in Athens, AL.  As you browse the Vintage posts, you'll see my post which includes all the details.  Just let me know if you're coming and we'll make sure to watch for you!
