Well, we finally broke down and bought a new Harley-Davidson.
It's a black 2015 1200 Sportster Forty-Eight.
Rocket Harley-Davidson was pretty easy to deal with and overall it was a pleasurable buying experience.
The Forty-Eight makes a good garage mate to our Star 1300 Deluxe.
One thing about the Harley, after an hour in the saddle you know you've been riding a motorcycle...my back...my back!!!
However, with its HUGE 2.1 gallon fuel tank, chances to take a stretch come pretty often.

The thing looks good. I'm a sucker for a sportster
Beautiful bike.
The new 48's are absolutely stunning. And with those fat tires bet she rides as good as she looks!
Congrats, good looking bike
Pretty slick scoot partner.
Very nice, good for you!
Cool Sporty!
Cool Tires! 8)
Thanks for the kind words about the 48.
It rides better than it looks like it would. The rear shocks only have about 1 1/2" of travel, but those big tires take up some of the bumps in the road.
It's no GoldWing, but it's not too bad for "local" work.
Great looking ride!
Congrats!
