Smiley (Donnie McBay) hit a deer this morning on his way to work. Sustained a broken leg and some other minor injuries, but it sounds like he will be OK. Keep him in your thought & prayers.
Well that sucks but I'm glad it wasn't worse.
That sucks! Hope he heals quickly.
It is no joke when you hit a deer as many on this site know.
Heal up Smiley and if you need anything let us know. ;)
Thank God it wasn't worse! Prayers for a speedy recovery!
Hate to hear...hopefully the recovery is speedy.
Glad to hear he fared as well as he did. A year or so ago, a man died after hitting a deer on 69 south headed toward Moundville. His wife was following behind him in her car and witnessed the tragedy.
Wishing him a speedy recovery.
Heal up quick.
Dammit boy! An ISIS, Suicide deer. :o
Heel up quickly old man. Praying for you Bro.
Praying that you heal up so you can get back to riding.
Here are some pics of my wounds . My foot was turned around backwards, notice it not in line with my leg. Got to have one more surgery m
heal up fast and let us know if you need anything.
HOLY COW those pics...... *shudder*
Keep us in the loop, Donnie. Wishing you an easy recovery.
Thoughts and prayers for you, Smiley! Hang in there!
I know your leg pain all too well.
It's a long road, so please stay positive!
Hand looks painful...
If you don't mind, what gear were you wearing?

Yeah. I am absolutely not buying that kind of gloves. :P
Looking at my initial post ... didn't mean to make Donny's other injuries seem trivial. As you can see from the picture of his hand ... nothing minor about some of his other injuries.
Heal up Donny. Praying for you my friend.
Up date on my deer slaying here are some pics of my second surgery. I was wearing good riding gear all but gloves and my hands got trapped under my body as I was sliding down the road.
:o
Dang, heal on up Smiley!
I know that leg x-ray all too personally.
