Also For Sale - 1982 Yamaha XJ750 Maxim
It's currently not running but in decent condition. $600 takes it.
Not my actual bike but it looks like similar to this. I'll create a new posting for it once I take pictures.

I'm going for something totally different. Probably 3rd gen Kawasaki Versys 650 LT. Lightweight touring is where it's at. Haven't you heard?
Of course you can ride it. You can ride the Aprilia if you want. (no test rides to strangers without cash in hand).

Good choice!
On the new bike that is.
Offering me the keys to that sexy Italian beast not so much. ;D
Besides if I did take you up on that offer you know I would be forking over all my motorcycle funds at the end of that test ride, right?
I got my eye and those funds on a new Honda African twin. I messed up and bought another kind of bike when Honda introduced the first gen African twin.
Can't let that happen again. ;)
BTW, to anyone looking at this bike my vote would be to buy it. Mulley takes good care of his stuff and this IS one sexy beast!
cold hearted, just completely cold hearted. I was going to look at something completely different this weekend and you had to post up the Italian thundercat for sale, and at a reasonable sum to boot. man that's just all kinds of low down 8)
I wish I could see the pictures but they will not show up here. oh well.

You figured out my plan.
If you ride this bike you will want it. I still get a big shot eatin' Grin every time I twist the throttle, especially when the db killers are removed.
I considered The Africa Twin too. But honestly I don't think I would enjoy it as much. It's too far into the dirt side of adventure and I know I would rarely take it offroad. It's just to expensive and pretty to scratch up. I would definately consider a 5 year old model of I lived in an area with more dirt roads, like out west but new, I couldn't do it.

I'm not sure what's up with the pictures on Tapatalk. They work fine in the web browser.
I would love for this bike to go to a friend it really is a great machine.

oh, you are devious sir, that was totally uncalled for........ (I'll call you later)
I've already purchase a new bike, it's time for this one to go. I just updated the original post with fresh new pics. I cleaned it almost as good as "Nice Goat" would. I even broke out the toothbrush. I have the clean title in my possession.

That is a good deal on a very, very nice motorcycle. I am a big fan of V-twin sporty bikes. Loved my modified Superhawk and always lusted over the RC51. I am no longer into that scene.
If you are considering a bike of that type, you owe it to yourself to consider Mulley's Tuono.
I cant believe this has not sold, it is a delicious piece of motorcycle goodness!

I'm shocked it didn't sell within a week. It's dang near flawless. It also has the power to make anyone standing by it gain at least 2.5 cool points.
Still for sale.
If you want me to ride it around for a while with a for sale sign to increase interest, I have no problem doing that.
Never ridden a liter bike but man this one looks sweet!

If you ride, you better have your checkbook ready. You'll want to buy it. It's ridiculous fun, maybe even ludicrous.
It's still for sale. :o
I rode it yesterday for the first time since I bought my Versys. This is how I felt.

Damn this bike is fun. I wish I didn't need to sell it.
Do you really need to sell....That is the ? :)

Financially, I don't have to but I should. We just moved and that money really needs to be used on other things.
and maybe 2k of it will go towards a used trials bike. Shhhh don't tell anyone.
Ok Mulley I almost panicked. I wont tell anyone just let your old buddy Reed ride it before Brad rapes it!
One of the few bikes I'd let go of the zrx to own....
