Title: The site of Old Kingston, Autauga Co.
Post by: Freebooter on September 22, 2015, 11:41:19 PM
Today I went on a two county ride looking at and taking pics of a couple of Indian villages, a couple of old buildings and one town site. This e site of Old Kingston, Autauga Co. It was the first county seat of Autauga County if I am not mistaken. The grave yard is pretty big, but the whole left side of it was overgrown with with brush, vines and briars and trees for years and years. That rock grave is undoubtedly the oldest one there. There is a further three or four hundred yards of this overgrown brush between the cemetery and the road those stores are on. I got a pic of one ruined building but no telling what is under all the overgrowth.  Oh well, this seems to only let you post one pic and also says it is too large. I have no idea how to change or reduce the size of a pic.
