Think this one was his brothers, had a mesh headlight guard. It is definitely one of the 2, Pro Moto billet rear rack that you don't see very often. Both of the DeBandi bikes had them.

'09 DR650, white, 5400 miles, FMF exhaust and jetted, firmer springs front and rear, weight reduction (removed mirrors, chain guard, cs sprocket guard, smaller tail light assembly, OEM rear mud guard and license plate mount, passenger pegs, and ???), and has an aftermarket fold-able mirror. It runs and handles great, w/a fresh oil/filter change (I can't vouch for when the valves were last checked, but there are no issues.). The aesthetics are fair to good, as it's been used like a d-s bike should be. I took it on trade and I'd like to move it quickly: $2400 OBO.

Bike is in great shape. Needs a chain roller and battery, but it has a kickstarter and started on second kick (cold). I was looking for a parts bike for a 250 scrambler project, and this bike is much to nice to cut up for parts. If I needed another light weight dual sport, I would have bought it. He was pretty firm on his price, BTW.

First thing to do is buy a bigger tank, a couple are available to increase capacity to 3 gallons.
Too bad the seller can't write a decent ad, that's either a decent deal or could be high mileage and needs all kinds of work.

You'd be surprised. I've found some great bikes on CL where the ad was horrible. Sometimes I search for ads with no pictures because most people don't pursue those as often.
Some people just don't know how to use technology, or proofread. And don't forget that if it's a non-riding family member, wife selling from a divorce/death/etc they may not know model designations well. So basically like your typical salesman at a bike dealership. :D

I rebuilt the top end on that one earlier this year. It was one of the two TTRs I bought from James and then sold to a buddy. Not exactly what I would call excellent condition but it's a good buy for $300-500 less than he's asking.
