I guess this is the place for this! Post up pictures of your moto camping set up loaded or unloaded.

Getting this started with an overpacked weekend trip.

Nice setup. It would be cool to see everything unpacked and laid out on the ground vs. packed and on the bike.

Even a Buell Blast can be a pack mule for camping if planned right :)
And that's my riding jacket, cap and helmet draped across the seat. The saddle bags were to support the Helen-Two-Wheels medium duffle. Very little in the saddle bags.

I used to overpack.

And I wasn't even camping...

I try to keep minimalist gear on my trips, so most of the time it looks like I don't have anything with the side and top cases. But these are instances where I was packed up either more or without cases.

Zig-zagging across SE Alabama with Glenn and Shepcam...

For the KTM 640 Enduro I decided to go with the Bilt roll top duffle bag in size L. It's a big bag but does allow you to compress it down a good bit. It worked well and kept everything dry on the trip. I'm looking forward to a minimalist overnight camping trip soon now...

Quite a bit of an update now that I've added the hard bags and jumped into the Helinox equipment (chair, cupholder, table, and high cot).  Just got back from 5 days in Raceland, LA and here she is packed up and ready to go:

Loaded for a shakedown ride before an 11,000 mile adventure. Good thing, too. Need to lose about 50# of unnecessary crap. Oh, and the saddlebags. Very poor planning on my part. Gas tank is UNDER the seat. DOH!
It's accessible but a PITA.

Gas caps under the seat are a real PITA.  I've had to deal with that on a couple of my scooters.

I picked up a set of OEM bags that are waterproof. $50 on the f650 forum. Woohoo!  A rear seat, rear rack and tank bag. I'll only need to add a tool roll and a small dry bag to fit everything that made the cut! Pics soon!!

SeatoSummit makes a combination compression and dry bag.  Mine have been in some real gully washers and never leaked a drop.  I believe Academy carries them.  They come in various sizes.

The Sea To Summit eVent bags came in today.
Remember this?

I put my sleeping bag and camp pillow in the medium.

Saved about 2 liters of space when compressed.

My clothes were stuffed to the max in this 26 liter saddlebag.

I put my clothes in the large. I even added extra clothes because I had room.

I put the sleeping bag/pillow in the rear seat bag with all my other camping gear and tools. My extra riding gear in the rear rack bag and strapped my clothes to the D-rings on top of the rear seat bag.

I still have empty space in both bags AND I still have the tank bag.

Where's that happy dance emoji?

BONUS: all the bags, the BMW OEM bags and the STS bags are waterproof. And they are the same color scheme :)

I paid twenty something bucks for the medium bag and about $32(?) for the large on eBay.

Those sea to summit bags are tougher than they look. I've had one I use for my bike sleeping bag for years. It's held up well. Lots of dual sport camping. When it's on the bike, it's up high in the center. It's gotten smacked by lots of branches that I thought would have torn it up. Keep sharp stuff away and you're good to go.
