Pretty impressive that they are waterproof. 
I have been keeping an eye on Zero motorcycles.  Still pretty expensive for the range, but another 5 - 10 years and they should have the range and be competitive in price.  I keep hearing rumors that the big four Japanese manufacturers are working together on common battery packs that will be swappable.
