Thought I oughta say HI since I've been lurking for a while. Live in Gulf Shores but am a transplant for the good weather from the north. Lifelong rider and currently riding a Suzuki V-Strom 650 setup for mainly pavement and easy dirt. My riding is kind of like the bike, about 80/20.   I did just go up and spend time on the SM 500 a few weeks ago and had a great time.  I look forward to meeting folks, seeing new country, doing some camping, good food and a few laughs.

Welcome from Huntsville.  That V-Strom is a great bike for the type of riding we have in the Southeast.

Welcome. Good to see you joined up. We have a few people down south.

I will actually be down in the area this (loosely speaking) Saturday. Dixie Abate is having a meeting at the Original Oysterhouse over by the battleship.
