Hi folks! I have only posted a few times here and rode with a couple of you on one occasion. Sadly I haven't been riding my bike much at all this past year or so, which I need to remedy.
The reason for this post is to make this group aware of the motorcycle themed podcast I am hosting along with two of my brothers. Its just appropriately named Slablog and can be accessed at iTunes and Stitcher at the moment. Nothing earth-moving just yet. Just a fun hobby for us. We try to meet once a week and record discussions and interviews, giving it a comedic slant but mostly about motorcycles and motorcycling. Then I take what we record and create a podcast in post production. My goal is to produce one per week. So far we have done 3 and you are welcome, even encouraged, to go listen to them to get an idea of what we're doing.
Now I come to my request. I NEED guests! Anyone frequenting this board is a potential guest on our show. We want to talk with riders, mechanics, dealers, or anyone else about motorcycling. All you have to do is post up here or PM me and I'll get back to you with details.
I live in Atmore and our little recording studio is in my home at the present with plans to move to my back workshop building in the near future. Right now we are limited to recording at this site but eventually will have remote telephone recording also for those who cannot travel here to join us. The recording sessions would only last no more than 30 minutes of your time.
We aren't doing this for money so I'm not asking for ads or offering any kind of payment for your cooperation. Just another fun motorcycle related adventure.
If for any reason I am not supposed to post here for this request, just let me know, and I'll be glad to move this or take it down. Don't want to cause any problems.

Feel free to contact me and let me fill you in on what we're doing. I have some necessary cables arriving this next week for telephone interviewing capacity, and that should make it a lot more convenient to get on the show with us.

Anyone else considering being a podcast guest, just remember Atmore is WAY south...but this can be done over the phone. Just get with me and we can set up a time to call in.
Our Slablog podcast hosts had an excellent "phone-in" visit with our very own Nice Goat yesterday. And thanks to him we were able to get a plug in for the forum here. We got together a few days ago and recorded podcast 9. No special guest interview. We just presented another segment of the Pootie Barnhill saga and discussed several items of non-import. :) We still need call-in guests if you would like to join us sometime. Just let me know.
