Title: Tennessee Goat Trails, Sat. 11-21
Post by: klaviator on November 17, 2020, 05:49:58 PM
I'm going to head up into Tennessee on Saturday on my KLX250.  Most of the ride will be paved with many of those being narrow and rough "goat trails".  There will be some dirt/gravel roads.  This ride will be suitable for larger adventure bikes.

Where:   Shell station in Ardmore at the intersection of 53 and 110.

When:   Meet at 9, leave at 9:15.  I expect to get back to Ardmore around 3.

Lunch will most likely be at the 31BBQ.  The weather looks good for Saturday with a high around 70 and sunny.

Just changed the oil. Planning to trailer up to the high school parking lot. See you all at the station.

Be extra careful today, gun season opened for Deer in Alabama.  Deer will be crossing the road in full run without caution.  I have to practice these beagle hounds on rabbits, have skipped two weekends in a row.
