Title: RIP WR250
Post by: SoloRider73 on November 22, 2020, 10:24:54 PM
Saw this article about Yamaha bikes being discontinued. I was surprised to see the WR250 on the list. I've never ridden one, so I don't know the bike. Curious if they have something else in the pipeline or just sticking with the XT for not.

I am not too surprised. It is no longer a cutting edge dual sport. I bet Yamaha will be releasing a new model soon.

Honda and Kawasaki just upped their 250s to 300s. Maybe Yamaha will bring out a WR300?  Dual sport sales have been pretty hot.  I can't see Yamaha just dropping out of the market.

Eventually everyone will have to push electric bikes... out of the woods... because there's no electrical service out there.

I kid, I kid.  :D
