Title: Guntersville Crow Mtn Loop on the V7
Post by: SoloRider73 on November 23, 2020, 10:32:09 AM
I rode with @klaviator and crew on Saturday.  When I got home, my V7 seemed depressed and lonely (or at least that's how I interpreted it sitting in the garage).  So on Sunday I decided to ride a loop from Huntsville to Guntersville through Buck's Pocket up through Crow Mtn down HWY 65 and back to Huntsville.

Buck's Pocket
There is a new OHV area that has a nice campground.  I saw the trailhead and the day parking area.   It didn't seem that crowded other than a few side by sides running around.

Other than Scottsboro, I didn't see much traffic.  When I was about a mile from home, I started getting some drizzle so my timing was great for a change.

That's a nice area to ride.

I've taken guys over there riding, that have lived in Alabama their entire lives, and have never ridden that area.  Once we go they'll always ready to head back.

Oh, I absolutely love those V7's, good looking bikes.
