I bought a big ass dry bag to carry all my stuff for work for the new 310GS. Looked at some top cases but couldn't find one that was big enough to hold my laptop bag and all the stuff that goes in it.
Needed something for support so I made a luggage rack from some scrap plastic that we had laying around here at work.
First thing I did was take it over to the table saw and cut it to size. Then put it on the router table to round off the edges. Made a template for the holes in the tail rack and drilled them out and then took it for a test fitting. That looked good so I brought over to the workbench to cut out some slots for straps. It's not too pretty but it works.
