A friend of mine described MMM as Woodstock for motorcycles. I rode the area once the weekend of MMM. I had no desire to camp at the Host campground and stayed at CMTC instead. The Tellico plains area does have awesome riding but I'd recommend going a different weekend when it's not such a madhouse.

I am debating going to this event but will probably go a different weekend. I have set up a number of dual sport events out of Tellico and may do spring and fall events there this year.

I've done MMM five or six times and it is great. Lots of people, food, vendors and events. Those GS Giants guys work hard to put on that shindig.
If you go, do the Cherokee Challenge...and I'll go if you ride that DesertX in the rodeo!
Missed MMM last year and went to the RDV which was very laid back...planning to hit RDV again this April.
Or go the weekend that Win does and follow him.
