Ok. It's time. My xr100 isn't getting the love it deserves. I don't have time to make the necessary repairs and I'm looking for a DS with a tag to ride.
The way this works is as follows:
1. You want it.
2. You send me a PM telling me why you want it. What you will do with it(hint: teaching someone to wrench or ride would be smiled upon).
3. I will choose the person who makes me feel happy about the xr's new home.
4. It's yours, FO' FREE!!!!
It has many issues. Non are catastrophic. But hey, it's free!!!
Two weeks to get me your PM's.

Forgot to mention, you can't sell the bike. It has to be passed on the same way you got it 8)
This is very noble, what you are doing, passing this bike along to someone else, so they can embrace the sport of offroad riding, or share it with someone else.
The bike was given to me in the same manner. It's time to pass it along :)
My 12 year old son keeps reminding me his brother had one when he was 12. Young son needs something to learn on 😀
PM sent 👍
Okay. Another change to the process lol. I didn't expect soooo many good responses. I want 5-6 more bikes to give away. I can't make this decision just from the responses I have had. Soooo...I will put all the names in a hat(the ones who have followed the rules and given me a "pay-it-forward" response, which at this point is everyone) and draw a name.
TOOOODDDAAAYYY'S the day!! Stay tuned 😎
Cool. The wife took her first ride the other day with me. Maybe this could fully set the hook....
To the lucky winner it'll make someone happy and as far as I can tell that's all this board does. Great group of guys be hard to find someone who didn't deserve it.
I HATE having my picture made and even worse a video. So I haven't watched this. Someone let me know if the names are not visible :)
Woohoo!!! Thank you, Chitza! Can't wait to have three generations riding dirt together!
Excellent methodology and good show!
Way to be. Congrats bblass..
I look forward to wrenching on this bad boy and being part of the history that goes along with it.

Had a good time picking it up with bblass. Got it to his house drained the old fuel, replaced with some new stuff. attempted to adjust the clutch cable and it moves out under its own power.
Woohoo!
Kesler took his first ride on the XR yesterday! I made him go over some basic maintenance items like how to check the oil, lube the chain and change the air filter before we started on the intricacies of the clutch. He did well! Made it two laps around the yard before crashing into a garden wall! Video to come once I figure out how to lower the resolution from 1GB
The best thing about Bama Rides is the people!
how is he supposed to wheelie into the neibor's fence, like the rest of us, if you don't turn loose of his bike 8)
