Hi, Everyone!

Saturday's breakfast was almost standing room only.  Three great "notables" occurred this morning:

First, Jim Dowdy arrived at breakfast on his own motorcycle for the first time since his hospitalization...Great to see you back on two wheels, Jim!

Second, another of our long-time members rode to breakfast aboard his vintage BSA Twin, following a bottom-up rebuild.  We chuckled about his license plate, which still had its 2001 registration sticker on it--the last time the bike was on the road!  We all shared in the hard-earned congratulations!

Third, we had the unexpected pleasure of having AMA Hall of Famer Graham Foster join us for breakfast...A real treat!  It was great to have you, Graham, and we look forward to welcoming you anytime you're in the area!

Here's what's coming up:

First, a progress report on space reservations at Barber for the Vintagefest October 5-7:  Mike Long noted the fact that

"Upper Lot D sold out within 1 hour of the site offering sales/rental for the 2018 Barber Festival.  It needs to be mentioned that NAVMC is running the show in Upper Lot D once again this year.  We have (at best/last count) at least 15 spots to members in Upper Lot D.  The World HQ will be located there again this year.  "Long Motor Court" will be at least 4 tents this year, with a possibility of expansion to 6 before Barber.  This same spot ("motor court") will also be co-hosted by the Vintage Suzuki Owners Group, and will be the location for THEIR Portable World HQ as well.  As always, Friday evening is our annual meet and greet filled with food, drink, and great people to associate with. "  If you're planning/wanting to bunk down within the NAVMC/Vintage Suzuki World Headquarters area, now is the time to contact either Mike, Tom Schuman or Jason Kerr to let them know your intent.
