Took a ride out to Bankhead last weekend.  Nice easy dual sport ride for solo, beginner, and 2up situations.  Nice twisties all the way there.  GPX attached.

Thanks for sharing. I've heard it is a great ride. Would it work for a heavy adventure bike, Yamaha Super Tenere?

Definitely.  Mostly just dirt road.  Maybe a few potholes and one or two muddy spots if there was heavy rain, but easily do-able on that machinery I would think.

What we've got here, is a failure to communicate.  Strother Martin as the Captain in Cool Hand Luke.
Endeavor to persevere! Chief Dan George as Lone Watie in The Outlaw Josey Wales.

The motor vehicle use maps are a great resource for this as well:

I've made a few of those into georeferenced .kmz's, if anyone wants a mvum referenced just holler, it only takes a few minutes, and makes using them so much easier in Google earth/basecamp/gps/etc

Have anything for Little River Canyon?  I've been wanting to explore the backcountry there.
