When the weather sucks, sometimes you just gotta suck it up and go riding anyway.

First a brief description of the weather we have been having.

I have rode all but 2 days in January and every day so far this month I was hoping to keep my streak going but it didn't look like it would actually stop raining today.  So I geared up and headed out anyway.  It was just a light rain and around 50 degrees so it really wasn't an uncomfortable ride.  I headed down to the Tennessee River to see how high it was.

See that sign past and to the right of my bike?

I wonder how all this water affects the water pumping station?

There is a boat launch ramp left of the building but right now it's probably more suitable as a submarine docking station ???

Dry weather is supposed to return on Sunday so I'm planning on doing a ride a little more exciting than this one.

I went to a known flood area today. That's actually a road I'm on!

No rain until this afternoon so I went for another ride this morning.  I decided to check out wheeler.  The pictures speak for themselves.

Just so no one forgets this is Alabama ;D

So the weather wasn't the greatest, it was still nice to get out and ride!
