Hopefully see you both at Mapco on 431.  Tornado warnings here now, so might be some debris from these storms.

We'll play it by ear according to the weather...supposed to be cleared out by early morning. Hope you guys stay safe up that way.

I'll tag along for awhile. Meet you at 10AM at the Mapco north of guntersville.
Once we get to Bridgeport, I'm going to break off and head into GA to see my grandmother.

There's a couple of small patches of green on radar over North Jeffco that should be moving out.

We'll push the KSU at Jack's back to 9:30 to make sure everything's clear (I won't be  there early for b'fast)...moving our time at the rally point to 10:30.

I'm at mapco on my v Strom. Roads are wet but I believe today will be some nice riding.

Thanks to Shane, Greg, Rich, David and Doug for tagging along with me today.

The morning started out a little damp, but the day turned out to be one of the best riding-weather days I've ever seen.

Meeting Doug and David at the Mapco in Guntersville.

Lots of flooding along Paint Rock River

Waiting on me to grab a location pic...

Change in venue for our lunch stop. No hibachi, but good burger...even better brownie sundae.

Tried to make our way to Buck's Pocket...not happening. There was a tremendous amount of water flowing over the bridge. It looked calm and easy, but there was a huge volume.

David DoubleEX

Was definitely a good ride! Hope to ride with you guys again soon.

Great ride and thanks for letting me tag along.  I'll keep an eye out for a ride posting down in your neck of the woods and try to join in.

And on a sad note - that Buck's Pocket area concrete bridge is where the teenager in a Jeep tried to cross and got washed away a few weeks ago.  Sadly he still hasn't been found.

Sounds good!

Regarding lunch...

One of us should have played along and fessed-up to having a birthday...she seemed way too eager to jump out of a cake for us.  :D
