With the onset of cooler weather, comes the onset of a strong desire to ride.
Miss Jan and I decided to stay kinda close to home this weekend.
Saturday, we rode the Clifton turnpike to Clifton. Go figure.
Anyways, it's a backroad way to Clifton, Tennessee, from Waynesboro, Tennessee.
In Clifton, ya always gotta git a picture of the river. And the cannons.

We made it to Savannah, Tennessee, and were headed to Pickwick, Tennessee for lunch, when I spotted a new place open.
It turned out to be a sports bar and grill called ''Jerseys". They served the typical bar food that was pretty decent.

The route to Savannah turned out to be another long way around. It was a nice ride through Tennessee.

Sunday I had invited my older brother to ride with us. He, and his wife decided it was too cold to ride. We planned on Chef Troys in Houston, Alabama for lunch. Of course, there's always gotta be a picture of the river. The ride through Bankhead was great. Not a lot of traffic, and the weather was great! The leaves have started turning, but there ain't a lot of color yet. I think that the next time we go to Bankhead, I'm gonna take take the KLR.

After putting a new seat on, I had to ride some this weekend. So Miss Jan, and I hopped on the cruiser and made it rain at E&E Food and Spirits.
