As far as I know, Wilburn Mill is still for sale.  Wouldn't that be a cool launch point for middle TN / N AL planned rides.  Acres upon acres of camp sites!!  And great swim holes to boot!

Only 68 acres is up for sale now. But it would be cool to own it. If things keep going the way they are, the side by side crowd is gonna destroy off road riding in that area.

I've seen tracks down in a valley and back up the other side underneath powerlines, but have never convinced myself that it was public land and jumped on it.  Its between there and the church with the swung bridge, do you know the legal ride situation of what I'm talking about?  I see a lot of off road vehicles when I'm in the area but I'm not sure what riding is available up there.  I know some, but with all the running around near the gas station I see, I feel like I'm missing out on something when I'm up that way.

There's an area in Westpoint, Tennessee, where you can pay for permission to ride on 5000 acres. The organization is called NATRA.  I'm not sure how much longer it will exist, because Tennessee department of natural resources is staying on the timber company about people riding in streams.
