Meet: Cycle Gear Huntsville at 10. KSU 10:20

OR

Meet us at the Shell station in New Hope at 10:45 (Shell, 10260 Old Hwy 431, New Hope, AL)

We will ride through Scottsboro to High Falls Park where we will spend some time walking down to the falls and taking pics. After that we will have lunch in South Sauty or Scottsboro or if everyone prefers we could eat lunch in Scottsboro before High Falls. Otherwise it will be a late lunch.

We will probably finish up in Gurley.

Dress warm. At 10 it is forecast to be 45 Degrees. The high will be in the 50s.

If they don't, I'm sure the Shell station in New Hope will.

Was that High Falls Park in Grove Oak, AL?  Haven't been there.  How was it?

I was repairing fence lines yesterday, but did a 35 mile ride to pick up some parts and it was cold on the Van Van.  Brr.

That's the one.  We had a good ride with 6 of us showing up.

There was still some color left in places.

We stopped at the natural bridge on Cottonville rd.

.

We rode some curves.

Since it has been pretty dry there wasn't much water flowing over the falls but it was still nice.

.

I caught a nice sunset on the way home.

I did a much more detailed ride report with more pics here:  https://advrider.com/f/threads/full-throttle-touring-150-through-the-rocket-city.647784/page-278#post-43377983

Almost all of that after we were South of the River was new to me.  Thanks!

Nice photos.  I've ridden the roads, but never stopped at the falls or the natural bridge.  Will need to make a point to do that.

My MIL lives on CR8 very close to CR17.  Know those roads well.  Always enjoy riding CR8.
