Getting ready for my trip later this month.
New battery and oil change on the TDM. Two drain plugs and five bolts to get the filter out and then a pressure check bolt once the new oil is in.
Interesting bike.

Let's see pics of that TDM in a diff thread. That's one of my favorite bikes.

Installed some auxiliary lights on the KLR650 today (and yesterday).  It was a bigger job than I expected. Turned out ok, I think.

The platform bracket is from JMS Engineering, cost 2X The cost of the lights.
The small hangers came with the lights. ($14/pair on Amazon?)

No photos, but I put some new tires on the Street Bob, and while buttoning it all back together,  decided to pay attention to various other maintenance items.

Cleaned air filter
Checked, cleaned, and reinstalled spark plugs
Topped off brake fluid and bled brakes
Cleaned and greased brake components
Greased wheel bearings, front and rear
Topped off oil

When you want to ride but can't wait on parts that are on backorder.

My speedometer was working intermittently on my KTM 500 while in Colorado. I assumed the little watch battery connection was loose. I went to fix it this weekend and found that the entire battery cover was gone and the housing was cracked pretty bad. So I got my MacGruber on.

First step was plastic epoxy for the housing. Let that dry overnight. Then I rigged up a way to hold the battery in using a water bottle cap, 3 pieces of 3M double sided tape, silicone, a cap from a juice bottle. I assembled this and let it dry over night. Then used a big washer and some zipties to make sure it stays together.

New battery cap has been ordered as this process is a pain in the butt to do every time you have to change the battery.

That has to be the purtiest goldwing I've ever seen. That blue is just something else.

Thanks, I really liked the blue. I only wish it was blacked out like the standard Goldwings, but I wanted all the farkles so I got a Tour and a trunk delete kit.

This combo is only about 6% shorter (3.31 to 3.50) but supposedly makes 1st and 2nd gear much more usable.
