Lynn and I are planning on riding up to spectate The Red Mile flat track race in Lexington KY.

The current plan is to leave Friday morning, meander up through TN and into KY. Camp Friday night, tour around some Saturday morning and get to the motel early afternoon. Go over to the track in time to go to the open pits and then watch the race and return to the motel that evening.

Start to ride home Sunday, tour around a bit, then camp Sunday night and return home Monday.

Well, that was a good time.

Just rolled in after riding since Harriman , TN in the rain.

Report to come soon after I download pics off our cameras.

I saw the Daytona and Atlanta rounds. great racing and if you haven't been to a flat track recently, well worth the drive to get to one.

wish I could have made this one, sounded like a good race!

Miles are the ultimate. High speeds, close racing, and drafting. Why anyone watches NASCAR is beyond me. Almost every heat race, Last Chance qualifier, Semi, and the mains were a battle.
