Title: camping in decatur
Post by: lastparrot on April 15, 2016, 11:59:58 PM
Alright, so my wife wants to take the family camping this year to the hot air balloon festival.  Was wondering if anyone had any advice in where they have stayed, I may take a hammock, but the family will be in a tent.

Point Mallard is where you want to be.  But I would advise you to make your reservations today.  It might already be full for that weekend.  Very nice park. You can walk to the ballon fest.

Well,  their website says they don't take reservations that time of the year.   So if they are full. What is my best second option?

They have a "primitive" camping area, if no hookups are needed.
