He's lucky AF that there was water down below. Bet it sucked watching that brand new 300 XC-W TPI get washed downstream.
That was pretty cool. He was lucky to be walking away.
Devil's Punchbowl is one of the more difficult roads in Colorado. Many people ride it every year on motorcycle, SxS, ATV, Jeep, etc., but there is not a lot of room for error.
Yikes! I am enough of a danger to myself on nice wide smooth pavement, so no thanks! But I do love seeing the variety of riding that people are able to enjoy.
That guy is really lucky and was also riding somewhere that I don't think he should have been. He appeared to be very nervous and wasn't mentally prepared for it. I'm not being mean at all. Some folks just don't handle certain things very well. This didn't appear to be his thing, he was out of his comfort zone.
That's a really cool area. I had hoped to fit that route into our 2018 trip. In 3 trips I've been all around that road but never on it. Maybe next time.
The rider (faller) did an interview.

Looks like something that would happen to me if I got a new dirt bike. He was being watched after for sure.

Amen to that
