Title: Can anyone recommend a local place to get bike parts painted?
Post by: ddragon on June 28, 2017, 11:17:09 AM
I am looking to get the tank, headlight cowling, both side panels and the rear fender painted for an 1986 Honda Nighthawk S.
Can anyone recommend a place to have this done local to the Birmingham area?

I've had several bikes painted by Scott Moore in Springville. He has painted bikes for Barber Museum, Graves Motorsports, and other race teams. He does quality work, people ship him stuff from all over the world to paint. I've seen some quality restorations that he has painted.
But be warned, his prices reflect the quality.

Carl Thrash paint and body in Montevallo have done a few jobs for me including two tanks. Very reasonable. If you call ask for Jason and tell them Stephen sent you.
