Title: Motorcycle Ride Benefitting First Responders
Post by: 2smoke on April 02, 2016, 05:45:12 AM
On Saturday, April 2, 2016, a motorcycle ride benefitting the Philip Mahan Davis Foundation will roll through Shelby and Jefferson County. All riders are welcome to take part. The Philip Mahan Davis Foundation is a non-profit which provides emotional and financial support to first responders and dispatchers who are seriously injured or killed in the line of duty. The foundation was established by survivors of Pelham Officer Philip Davis, who was killed in the line of duty on December 4, 2009. The ride is sponsored by a national motorcycle club of current and former law enforcement, military, and civilians. The two-hour ride will begin at Max Motorsports, 400 Keystone Court, Pelham AL, and end at the motorcycle clubhouse in North Pelham. Riders may register on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Max Motorsports and Kick Stands Up is at 11:00 a.m. Registration is $20.00 per bike and $5.00 per rider. For more information, please contact Steve Dickson at 205-266-7455 or visit the event Facebook Page "Philip M Davis 1st Responders Ride". For more information concerning the Philip Mahan Davis Foundation, go to www.officerphilipdavis.com.
