Title: Barber Vintage Festival October 6-8, 2017
Post by: Chitza on April 30, 2017, 06:54:35 AM
I know it seems like a long time away, but it's time to start gathering donations to sell at our booth. If you're Spring cleaning or doing upgrades to your bike and want to get the old stuff out of your way, let us know! We take donations of motorcycle parts, riding gear, anything Moto related. Post here or contact a moderator for pick up and drop locations.

I should have a bunch of GL1200 parts in the near future! I need to figure out my plan for this beast before I get rid of its skin!

It's a little more than I would carry on the bike. It's not in the way and I may add to it over the summer  ;D .

I'll be moving in a month and have some things to donate. They were misc parts that either came off of or didn't go on the 360. Anyone near me that I can bring them to or that can come pick them up?

Anyone can generally drop things off with me at my office, too.  I work on 7th Ave South, right in the heart of the Lakevew district.  And there is a parking spot that is always open right at my office window.

HRA Risk Services
3016 7th Ave South
Birmingham, AL  35233

We have two storefront windows - when you are facing the place, my office is the window to the left of the front door.

We are getting closer! Time to be making your plans so o thought I would give you all some information.

Where we are: Find the BamaRides booth in the Swap Meet, Row K, spaces 10-12.
What to bring: we will have chairs, but we always need more. We will have ice chests and always appreciate a bag of ice. We will have water, coffee, sandwich fixings and chips, chili on Friday night and munchies.
If you plan to "camp" at the booth, please let me know. Bring something to sleep on, tents on the site will be limited, but there is room under the easy ups. Some of us snore. Loudly. You may want ear plugs. There is parking on the site for bikes only, but the time frame for getting your bike in and out of the Swap Meet is limited to non busy hours of the Swap Meet. So be early or plan to push your bike to the booth. It's about 50yds.
What to do: hang with the cool kids!!
Rummage through bike paraphernalia
Watch the races

Hey. I have hard cases for a street bike to donate. I need to give them to someone, since I can't be there. I'll call Johnny to see if he can take them for me. If he can't, I'll see if Wynn can.

Hey Norton73,

I need to send some hard side cases for a street bike with you if you don't mind. I can meet you at HSV utilities or you can swing by my work. I'm planning to work tomorrow from 6 AM - 4:30 PM. I do have a meeting from 8:00 to 9:00ish, but other than that I am free to meet whenever and wherever. Just let me know what is more convenient for you. I'm less than a mile from the interstate on Wynn Drive, so more than likely you are going to drive right by me. My cell phone number is &^&%)*&%*&(*&)&(_

-Sam

My schedule is flexible.  I will be at Decatur 9ish, will be heading to an account in research park about 11, then Huntsville Utilities.
Not sure where Wynn drive is, but if it's easiest for you, I can stop by your work and pick them up.

MsGriff,
Delete your number and email from your post. You probably don't want to be spammed to death.
I wrote them down, you should send info like that in a pm through the forum.

Work takes me up to Decatur and Huntsville once a month, I will be going back again the 3rd week in September, so if anyone needs anything else picked up, let me I know.

I've got MsSGriff's cases and I have a few other things gathered out of my garage. I will probably go visit Lawnmower in the near future.
