Post by: zx6r racer 69 on May 21, 2017, 10:50:38 AM
i was looking at getting one of these for my full face helmet and wanted to know if anyone has tried one yet . they are kind of high dollar but if they work good it might be worth my money .

For my Shoei RF-1200 full face helmet, the price is $169.99 for a transition type/kind of faceshield/visor at RevZilla.  :o An aftermarket is less but still around $70.00.
It would be nice to have but I think I will stick with my sunglass set-up.

I've got one on my Shoei street and Bell dual-sport helmets. I didn't pay full price for the Bell shield...they had a screw up on their website for about an hour and were selling them at the $34.99 of their normal shields.

My eyes are very sensitive to light, so I also wear sunglasses under my tinted shields...the Transition shield eliminates the need for me to carry a clear shield when I might get home after dark.

I have the photochromic pinlock in my Arai and love it.
