I have a question that some good feller on here can answer. I need to replace my hour meter on the KTM because unfortunately the one I purchased has a battery in it and it only lasted about 3 months. Piece of crap. Anyways, question being is there a good meter that doesn't have a battery in it? One that lasts forever?
I bought one of the cheap Chinese made hour-meters off Ebay...has worked great so far.

Not sure if there is enough difference between the cheap Chinese and a "name brand" meter, but I am looking at this (or similar) for the CRF.

It does. I went with a cheap $10 unit last time and it laid down on me so it may be worth spending a few dollars more and buying a name brand.
