Thanks in advance.

I appreciate it.  Your just a bit far out for me.  There used to be a guy local, I think he went by YamaMoto that had a NoMar here but I'm not sure if he on the forum anymore.

Updated already....  Just bought some more spoons and something to break the bead...   Looks like I'll be doing it myself.  This is the third bike in 5 months.  I really need my own changer.

Thanks everyone.  I hate this place isn't active anymore.

I have a NoMar in N. Alabama, east of Huntsville.

Looking to see if I can find anyone local that has a motorcycle tire changer.  I have a balancer myself but just don't feel like spooning them on if I don't have too.  I'll have the wheels off and ready just waiting now for my tires to come in.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Go for it!  I'm sure you will have fun.  Tracks aren't just for sportbikes.  I've been on the track on a scooter.  This was at the Barber Small Bore a few years ago.

Skills Development / Track day for a cruiser

Of all the dumb-looking things, I think I'm about to top all the crazy things I ever did. Sportbike Track Time is putting on a Ladies First track day at Little Tally (Talladega Gran Prix Raceway),  on June 8.  I'm a 66 year old novice rider who'll be there on a Honda Rebel with old street tires.  What could possibly go wrong?

That was a track day years ago

The bike I have now: A Honda Rebel 500

I really don't care how goofy I look - I am sure to come away from that day a better rider.  And that's what it's all about.  I think what keeps you young is risking looking like a fool to have an experience.

One thing that makes me a little concerned is knowing my bones are becoming more brittle and if I fall off the bike I run an elevated risk of breaking things.  So wish me luck!

Lawnmowwer (Rodney)is hauling me over there and will be my crew chief that Saturday.  That will help a lot because it's hard to do it all without a little support.  And the moral support will be priceless.

I'd love to have all of the Motorcycle Alabama ladies there with me!
