Zero is bringing the Black Forest to the USA as a 2020 model.

Like most E bikes, needs more range, but I look forward to later models that I can knock out a Saddlesore 1000 on without a recharge

I test rode the SR and DS at a local Demo Day a few years ago.  Really liked the DS, which the Black Forest is based on.  I would like to have a DSR but price and range are drawbacks for me.

I spotted one of these at a local used car lot yesterday, a white dual-sport...I think.

I'll stop by there today and see exactly what it is.

This is interesting. I think the performance numbers are good other than the range. I have almost run out of gas on my GS several times and it has about a 225 mile of ridden easy. There was not a charge if station anywhere close to where I ended up any of those times.

The range will drop drastically if you run the lights and things like heated grips. Also if you get anywhere close tot he top speed of 102.

I didn't see anything about the suspension but I imagine it's acceptable if not loaded heavy or ridden hard.

The hard cases should come with shatter proof solar panels.
