American Flat Track made its return at Daytona this year with two days of racing at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville. Indian continues to dominate but part of that maybe due to Harley Davidson's decision to restructure its factory teams and end its partnership Vance & Hines. The effort will focus on supporting dealer teams. Jared Mees and Brandon Robinson split wins in super twins as did Chad Cose and Cory Texter in production twins. Cory's sister Shayna meanwhile won both singles events. Next racing is Road Atlanta.

"After a year-long absence from TT racing, the AFT has brought it back through a brand new event (the Atlanta Super TT). Hosted at Atlanta Motorspeedway, a track most known for holding its yearly NASCAR event. For the previous four seasons, the AFT held the Atlanta Short Track race at Dixie Speedway.
Looking at the track specs for Atlanta Motorspeedway, it is a 1.5 mile, quad-oval track. And similar to the Daytona TT contains a custom-designed multi-surface racetrack. It will make use of the tri-oval asphalt straightaway. Setup for extra overtaking opportunities, this event should offer plenty of action."
