Riding over to south of Mt. Cheaha area to do some exploring. No real route planned just going to ride some of the forest service roads, gravel roads in the area.
Meet at 1919 Highway 58, Helena, AL 35080 (Exxon/Zou's kitchen) 9:15 KSU at 9:30.
Going to be heading toward Vincent then toward logan martin dam getting there if someone wants to meet along the way somewhere.
What bike will you be on? If I were to come, I would be riding my '14 v-strom 1000. It's all ready for adventure with Mitas e-07 tires, plus all the needed protections, but not sure what type of riding you have in mind.
I ride my WR for real offroad but wouldn't be coming down to bham on Saturday with it.

Be camping with the family this weekedend, or I would try to make it. I'm glad to see that you put it up so that some of us others had a chance at it.

Going to be on the Himalayan. Mostly just going to ride some of the forest service roads. Shouldn't be to rough. I have went down a couple of them on my FZ1.
I am interested but need to see if other plans can be changed. The 890 ADV R needs more break in miles. What is your best guesstimation on ride distance and time
Probably about 200 to 250 miles. As far as time I was planning on be back home around 5ish but we can do whatever works for everyone.
My Granddaughter has a dance recital that day, or I would go riding. These kids have been working so hard, with all this Covid stuff going on, that I really need to go and watch her.
I have not ridden my 690 off road since the last Bankhead ride. I like riding that area south of Cheaha, especially stopping to enjoy the view at "Buzzards Roost". Should be a good day for riding. You guys have a safe ride.
