Post by: Chitza on December 30, 2015, 07:43:59 AM
How to make a post like this:

Look like this:

First, locate the url for your video. There is a "share" arrow on YouTube where you can choose "Copy Link".

Return to forum and open a reply.

Paste the copied link into the body of your reply and highlight it.

Go to the tool bar and click the YouTube button:

Viewing from tapatalk I'll add.

Okay here are the embed links from one of my videos on Vimeo

<iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/90412248" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe>

https://vimeo.com/manage/90412248/embed

I think THAT /\ one is the one I used on the old forum. I do know it works on other forums, but not this one.  :thinking-022:

Anywho, here is another one;

<iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/90412248" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe>

vimeo only requires the link - just the link, no code, no buttons.  But you need the right CODE

You posted:

https://vimeo.com/manage/90412248

but you needed

https://vimeo.come/90412248

as seen below

we call it syntax - it is pretty damned important on the interwebs - not so much for English  :cool08:
In other words, you can get away with talking to humans, not knowing how to spell, punctuate, or proper grammar.  When you are giving instructions to a machine, you need to be pretty damned close, if not exact.  The rules can be bent, but not broken - you know, the way YOU do things? :lol-049:
