I'd like to see OHV trails in pretty much all of Alabama's State parks. They are supposed to be for the public's outdoor recreation. We have been long ignored as OHV users for a place in the state parks.

This is good news indeed. Buck's Pocket is probably my favorite Alabama state park; I've been visiting and camping there for 35+ years.
I noticed something else positive in the link, too: "While the park is newly unmanned due to budget cuts, the $650,000 OHV trail will hopefully bring more traffic to the location." That sounds to me like the park is still open even while being unmanned. If so, that's quite a change from the usual where the governor decides he wants to raise taxes again, so he closes the state parks until he gets what he wants.
