From Arkansas and been living in Memphis WAY too long. Going to be moving to the Columbus Ms area in the near future. My driveway will be about 100 yards from the Alabama line so here i am. Im a ex road racer, flattrack, enduro rider and was into sport bikes until my old (58) year old bad knees fat ass couldn't ride them any more. Looking for the good twisty roads AND the dualsport routes. I ride a 08 Triumph Bonneville ive converted to Scrambler, 03 Kaw Concourse sport tourer, O8 Suzuki DRZ400 Motard, and my favorite a 02 Kaw KLR650 (The Killer)  Hoping you guys and gals can turn me on to some of the good stuff.

Welcome! That's a well rounded stable you keep. I'm a fellow KLR rider, look forward to meeting you.

There's a lot of good roads on the west side of the state that no one really talks about.  The area around Fayette and Lamar counties offers some dirt and gravel roads. It's also a diverse landscape, from hills and hollers to rivers and swamps.

Welcome from Huntsville and another KLR rider.  We have a member who lives over in Tupelo who has joined us on some rides.  We occasionally have weekend events that are worth riding over for.  We have weekend events coming up in September and October.  The first one will have both street and dual sport rides and the second dual sport and maybe street rides.  Take a look in the events sections as well as Street and dirt rides.

Welcome from the Walker Co. area. You will be about 75 miles from me. Good roads and DS around here!

Hello from Cullman!  I've been promising to take the wife over to Memphis one weekend for touristy reasons.  Any recommendations besides Beale St and the ferry?

The ferry ??? Well there is Graceland, Sun Studio, Stax,(I know all music related) and the new HUGE Bass Pro pyramid. Thats really all we got. There are Casinos just a short distance south in Mississippi. Beware : Memphis is a crime ridden city as im sure you've heard or read. Only a little over 400 Cops as many have left town for better jobs. A few tourist have even had their dog stolen. You cant make this shit up. Just a heads up.

Well ive officially moved to Caledonia Ms. now. Job hunting and have explored the roads little bit. Found some gravel and the pavement is nice rolling hills and curves. Ready to hook up with some dudes to show me around.

A little late to the welcome party, but glad you're here!!  I've just made a move recently myself, and haven't gotten all my bikes up here yet, but working on it.  Hope to see ya out on the road!

Welcome from another Huntsville rider.  I'm a street/highway guy.  I'm also a member, and the calendar manager, for the North Alabama Vintage Motorcycle Club, and one of our riders is just returning from Nova Scotia aboard his trusty KLR

(Kyle Wagner, https://www.instagram.com/wagnerrific).

They're amazingly reliable and durable motorcycles!  If you ever have an interest in anything vintage, you'll find the majority of my posts there.  Look forward to meeting and riding with you.  Hope to see you with MC-AL at the Barber Vintage Fest! :)
