Suches, GA and TWO

Just nugged-out some gpx files for routing from east of Huntsville. Want to do this ride over 9-10 March.

Attached some gpx files of routes I plan to ride. One is a route to TWO; another is a one-hour short loop from TWO; and, the last is a route back to the Huntsville area.

Use and modify as you please.

I live not far from Suches, about 45 mins NE of there. I made some suggestions. One is a 2 hour loop from Suches, and the other is about a 4 hour loop. I highly recommend visiting either Brasstown Bald (highest mtn in GA) or Bell mtn (beautiful view).

As far as the ride over from HSV and back, going through Mentone to Ellijay to Blue Ridge/Morganton then down 60 to Suches is good. You can also go just north of Ellijay and take the road up through Fort Mountain State Park. Another option is to go out Wolfpen Gap Rd to US 129, then take 129 up to Murphy, NC, then take the scenic route along the Occoee river up to Cleveland, TN, then through Chatt back down to HSC.

you really can't go wrong in that area, unless you end up on a 4 lane highway.

i bet jrou could put you on a few great fishing spots, vistas, or camp sites pretty easily. whatever you're looking for, north georgia has it !
just give 'er the berries !
