I know there ain't really a town named Mayberry in Tennessee, but there's a little town called Granville that comes close. I discovered that it exists on Facebook.
Well naturally Miss Jan, and I had to get on the Oldwing and find this little gem. According to the article I read, the town is quite crowded on the weekend, so we left out Monday the 26th.
The first leg of our little get away landed us on Lynchburg, Tennessee.

Miss Jan is getting more and more comfortable on the Oldwing, so she has started taking pictures with her phone from the back of the bike. Here are some of them.

I was navigating by map this time, sometimes I toss a coin in my mind to decide which way to turn. Needless to say, there were a couple of you turns needed to get where we wanted to go. Notice the confused look on my face.

Using a road map, I was able to keep us on mostly two lane roads.

The true town that your looking for is Mt Airy, NC.

Fire and Iron MC had to cancel their rally there in 2020. It was being called "Mayhem In Mayberry"

Enjoy the ride!!
