OK, I'm not talking literally.  It's 24,901 miles around the Earth.  How many bikes have you ridden that far?

I've done it with 5 bikes:
BMW R1100GS               87,000
Yamaha Venture 1200   72,000
Kawasaki EX500            66,000
Kawasaki KLR650          37,800
Aprilia Sport City 250     25,000

Moto Guzzi

3 bikes so far for me.
1988 H-D Sportster 1200              41,000 miles
1996 Suzuki LS650 Savage           42,000 miles
2007 Suzuki DR650                      70,000 miles and counting

Getting close with this one:
1975 Moto Guzzi 850 T-3               21,000 miles and counting

Came close on a few others:
2003 Suzuki SV650                       20,000 miles
1999 Suzuki Intruder 1500LC         22,000 miles

I've never bought a new bike, mileages are minus what they had on the when purchased.

1973 Norton 850 Commando 46,000 still going up
1974 BMW R60/6 64,000
1976 BMW R90S 105,000
1978 Suzuki GS1000E 25,000

Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however,  extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity.

If it don't scare you, you ain't doing it right.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

That's a lot of miles for a bike that small!

Lofty Goals Possibly May Be Reached
Modest Goals Possibly May Not.

I'm a late bloomer so to speak. I started riding much later in life than most everyone here.

05 BMW K1200RS make it just around the world. I bought it used and put around 30,000 miles on it.
09 Aprilia Tuono 1000 R Factory - I've made almost three-fourths of a lap with just under 18,000 miles
05 Suzuki DR-Z400S - about half a dirty lap around 13,000 miles
