Hi, Everyone!

I hope all of you enjoyed the weekend, in spite of the frequent showers.  After last Summer's drought, it's hard to complain about rain, especially with the abounding greenery on Alabama's backroads!  Unfortunately, the rain dampened the British in the Blue Ridge weekend, but we profited from a great turnout of old and new faces at Saturday's breakfast...We packed the house!  It was great to see everyone.

Only one new activity to post since last week:

We're going to do a vintage-oriented ride this coming Saturday, July 1st, right after breakfast!  We'll depart Blue Plate II and head out over the mountain, and then onward to Gurley.  From there we'll hit AL 65 and head north until we reach Huntland, TN.  We'll stop briefly for gas/comfort at the station that has non-ethanol gas, and then we'll head on to Lynchburg for lunch, and a stroll around the square.  It should be a great ride.  And the bike shops, Diamond Gusset Jeans shop etc are always a blast, too.

We'll post an initial weather call on Facebook on Friday evening, and then make the final call at breakfast Saturday morning.  Let's fuel up our old bikes and put on a vintage show for the folks in Lynchburg Saturday!

All else on our calendar remains unchanged, pending any new inputs from any of you (please post 'em if you got 'em!):

July 17-21:  International Norton Owners' Rally in Buena Vista, VA.  RJ and Garry Johnson are going, along with "Norton 73" from Bamarides.  Make reservations early if you wish to take part!  PM RJ on Facebook, or Norton 73 on Bamarides for more information, or to arrange a linkup in Buena Vista.

See you Saturday!
Live to Ride...or Die Tryin'!
