When you're done you can come to Springville and build a garage for me.

It just took a long time for the builders to get to us. The company sold 2 times the number of buildings over last year, along with the rain and Covid issues, they are running way behind.

I hope to have a finished shell by the end of the week.

This experience reminds me why I prefer to do my own work and why I don't like to depend on other people.

If you were Amish or Mennonite you could have had a garage-raising by now.  ;D

It's looking good!

If I would have done it myself, I think I could've had it done....even as slow as I am.  :)

I finally have a new garage.  I have a huge list of things I want to do. I  had to put Baby in the corner until I finish interior construction. At least it will be parked inside for awhile.

Sent from somewhere  on the road, I hope.

I haven't' posted here in a while. Been busy making sawdust.

Future apartment.

Not much help, but she has a nail gun.

Walls and a little sheetrock

Looks like something now

Give her something with a trigger and she's good. Not so much with sheetrock mud.

MR COOL Mini Split install.

Outside unit

Prep for head in the apt

When you drill the hole through the wall where template shows and forget to check where the studs are located.

Ready to install on hanger

10 minutes and it's on the hanger

The part that put a smile on my face, the head for the garage.

Missed the studs this time.

Almost there

Lines, drains and power on the outside

Outside unit

Connected and power on. Temp inside garage. It was 40 outside.

30 minutes later in garage with minimal insulation.
