I've been looking at this gear for a few years and just never pulled the trigger. I'm looking to decrease my pack size/weight when I travel but I still need road rash and weather protection. The reviews on these are great for function, comfort, and durability. So far the best cold weather protection I have had has been a pair of snow mobile pants, but they have no protection. These will solve that problem. I have friends who wear these and they swear by their comfort, even off the bike. We shall see

Post use review to follow...when I stop working a freaking 18hrs a day :(

I put these on under a pair of regular fitting jeans and wore them around the house. I thought I was going to have to go up a size. They fit quite well under my jeans and were quite comfy. The CE approved pads are dense and therefore thin enough to wear under jeans. I hope not to crash test them, but reviews from riders who have report excellent protection. I may consider pairing them with Kevlar jeans, but I haven't been able to find a decent pair in a female cut.
